I am sure given the factors of low income, less education + religion, non-black voters are as likely to vote for Prop. 8.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We shouldn't ignore homophobia or make excuses for it, no doubt, and I agree with you on that point. I think it's wrong for people to backlash against you for trying to understand certain in things better -- I have heard the term 'white gay racism' being floated around, which doesn't particularly make me happy -- Most of the community is mad and simply looking for someone to blame / target -- very human reaction, and that doesn't make us racist.
